Central Maine Community College
Founded in 1964, Central Maine Community College (CMCC) is one of seven colleges that make up the Maine Community College System (MCCS).
The College is located on a 135-acre campus overlooking Lake Auburn. The area served by CMCC extends beyond the cities of Lewiston and Auburn and includes rural areas located sixty miles or more to the north and west. CMCC has more than 27 instructional programs, including online degree programs, leading to associate in arts, associate in science, and associate in applied science degrees, and certificates.
