LibreTexts is an adaptable, user-friendly, open education resource (OER) platform that educators trust for creating, customizing, and sharing accessible, interactive textbooks, adaptive homework, and ancillary materials. We collaborate with individuals and organizations to champion open education initiatives, support institutional publishing programs, drive curriculum development projects, and more.

Thousands of higher education (and some secondary school) faculty have LibreTexts accounts enabling them to create custom texts for their courses and students. It is through these efforts, that LibreTexts provides educational resources and supports instruction at no cost to millions of students and teachers worldwide.

ADAPT Online Assessment

ADAPT is a homework system built on OER where instructors can create engaging assessments on their own or from a question bank with over 200,000 elements using WebWork, iMathAS, H5P, or QTI . ADAPT features accessible alternatives to questions as well as integration with LMS gradebooks. ADAPT integrates a clicker app for in-class assessments.

Machine Translation of Textbooks

The use of AI-based machine translation is a great starting point for conversion of OER into different languages. LibreTexts infrastructure allows easy translation of any OER text on our platform.
